ŠMSM reglamentuoja LITNET veiklą, tvirtina LITNET programas, valdybą. LITNET contributes to ministry by implementing its mission to provide services to the academic community.  

NŠA

LITNET cooperates with the National Education Agency by contributing to the quality assurance of education by providing IT infrastructure and services to the education system.  

GÉANT

LITNET is a member of GÉANT Association. GÉANT is the collaboration of European National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) aimed to deliver an information ecosystem of infrastructure and services to advance research, education, and innovation on a global scale.

For over 25 years this approach has benefited research and education communities worldwide.

FIRST

LITNET CERT is a member of FIRST, a global organization that brings together various government, commercial and educational organizations to respond to computer security incidents. The purpose of the organization is to promote cooperation and coordination in the field of incident prevention, to promote a rapid response to incidents and the sharing of information between members and the public.

NKSC

LITNET CERT team assists to the National Cyber Security Center under the Ministry of National Defense (NKSC), the main Lithuanian cyber security institution, responsible for unified cyber incident management, monitoring and control of cyber security requirements, security of critical information infrastructure and accreditation of information resources.
