LITNET TCS
In 2008 LITNET joined the TERENA's Server Certificate Service project and started certificate service for the LITNET institutions – LITNET TCS. The name of the service has been changed on July 1st 2015 and now it is known as GÉANT's Trusted Certificate Service. The main purpose of LITNET TCS service - to give opportunity to the education and research institutions of LITNET to issue close to unlimited numbers of certificates provided by a commercial CA at a significantly reduced price. LITNET Technical Centers help to install secure wireless (WiFi) eduroam access to institutions, whose do not have the resources to install and maintain the service by themselves.
